ACLU and Local Groups Support Champaign Man Charged with Eavesdropping Police

On Friday, Sept. 10, the IL ACLU and other local groups held a press conference in support of Martel Miller, who has been charged with felony eavesdropping for videotaping police performing duties in public. The groups also called for dismissal of the charges.

On this edition of the show, we play excerpts of the press conference and talk with Nicole Lamers, who works with VEYA, the group that Miller cofounded to educate local youth and advocate for change, especially with regard to police conduct.
