In the late ’70s it flourished as the center of Mid-Missouri’s alternative universe. However, by 1997 KOPN was on the verge of financial collapse. Community activists rescued it at the last moment.       I have a residential treatment center for 24 abused and neglected children. I am looking some kind generous person to help us build a small radio station for the boys. It will help them build their self esteem and self confidence, and increase their ability in english speaking. The agency is a tax exempt.
